When Glamour in Hisarönü offered to hold a fundraising event for Yaşam İçin Yarış (Race For Life Turkey), we knew it would be a fantastic night out.
Neither the Yaşam İçin Yarış team or Glamour have held an evening purely dedicated to fundraising before however, undeterred, they set out to make it happen.
Little did they know just how fantastic a night it would be…
On Wednesday evening the gorgeous Glamour Girls, Miss BeeHave, Miss Noxi and Joanna Play performed to an almost full house.
The show was a mixture of the two regular shows held throughout the summer season with an extra special twist at the end. It also included a raffle and silent auction with prizes donated by locals and businesses.
Fronted by the fabulous Miss BeeHave, the Glamour Girls performed a veritable cabaret of songs by, amongst others, Tina Turner, Liza Minelli and Cher and from The Sound of Music, Disneys the Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, Sister Act and Evita.
This isn’t a show where the audience sit, watch and applaud politely at given intervals. Members of the audience are invited, chased or dragged into getting up on stage and taking part in the show. It’s all part of the fun…
Every show has a grand finale and Glamour is no exception. What better end to this fabulous show than a song from The Greatest Showman.
This is Me
We’re not giving too much away! You’ll have to go and see the show for yourself.
How much did they raise?
Glamour and the show raised an incredible 14,150TL for Yaşam İçin Yarış. The money raised will go towards diagnosis, treatment and awareness of cancer in Fethiye and the local area.
Thank you to…
The Yaşam İçin Yarış team would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone involved for making the evening such a huge success.
