Fethiye Adventure Park
If you are looking for something a little bit more challenging than sunbathing by the pool or swimming in the sea, why not visit the newly established Fethiye Adventure Park; a great new addition to the huge array of activities that Fethiye has to offer.
The park, located on the hillside between Taşyaka and Ovacık, opened in September 2016 and has been created over an expanse of more than 30,000m2 of, mostly shady, woodland area.
The idea for the park was initially formed by joint owner, Tuncer Beyribey, after spending many years living in Belgium where similar adventure parks can be found. The park was built by Arbre Et Adventure , who already have a number of existing adventure trails throughout the world.
What is there to do?
The main activity at the park centres around four different rope/cable courses of varying levels of difficulty. These are located high above the ground and offer fifty different crossings from tree to tree.
Four courses and fifty crossings
BLUE TRAIL – for youngsters from 3-6 years old – under 90cm tall
GREEN TRAIL – platforms 5-7 metres up – includes one zip line
RED TRAIL – platforms 7-11 metres up – includes one zip line and one base jump
BLACK TRAIL - Zip Line Trail platforms 13-14 metres up – includes 6 zip lines
What about safety?
All safety materials and equipment at the park adhere to stringent international safety standards. In addition to this, the park is closely monitored and inspected by independent health and safety experts from France on a regular basis.
Safety equipment
Once you have chosen which course to opt for, you will be issued and fitted with your safety harness, comprising of three pieces of equipment, all of which are certified by the Coudou Pro Company and the Zaza Safety System.
1. A standard carabiner

2. A larger safety hook which is used to keep you continuously attached to the cable from start to finish (continuous belay system)
3. A cable trolley/dual pulley for use on the zip line crossings
Safety briefing and practice trail
All trail goers are required to attend a safety briefing upon receipt of their harness equipment and participants are invited to complete a short practice trail at ground level which encompasses all the important elements from the main courses. Upon successful completion of the practice trail, the real adventure can begin.
