The Üzümlü Group Christmas Cracker

Thank you to Paddy Distin for the update and photographs

The Üzümlü Group held their Christmas Cracker last week at Eddy’s Place. Despite the horrendous weather, it was extremely well supported and raised the amazing amount of 4,950 TL.

The group would like to say a big thank you to the stall holders, to everyone who donated brilliant prizes for the draw, to the volunteers who worked so hard and last but not least, to everyone who came and supported the event.

Recent projects

The Üzümlü Groups most recent projects have been buying chairs for the science lab at the new school in Üzümlü and also, a new strip for the local football team.

A huge thank you and well done to Rob Tomkys, the League Organiser, who got us through the season virtually unscathed, and to all the members who scored, measured, supported, and everything else. The Leagues wouldn’t succeed without all that input.

And finally, thank you from all of us to Aydin and his staff at the Lukka Bar, who look after us so well after the matches. A special thank you to Aydin for the lovely trophies donated by the Lukka to honour our winners.
