A busy day for Fethiye Bowling Association

Friday, December 6th was another busy day at the green for the Fethiye Bowling Association. Both the Ladies Doubles Competition and the weather- delayed final of the Men’s Doubles were completed with some excellent play by all the finalists.
Ladies Doubles
June Waddell Hall/Carol Bush and Bev Tomkys/Tina Tuton, were the finalists of the Ladies Doubles competition. June and Carol were the winners with a final score of 21-12.
Men’s Doubles
After two washed out Fridays, the weather finally relented for the Men’s Doubles final between partners Jeff Carter/Stephen Gudmunsen and Martyn Simms/John Holmes. It was a closely fought game, won by Jeff and Stephen with a final score of 21-19.
Well done all for an excellent display of Crown Green Bowling.
