Shoppers are being provided with a few extras at the new 3C’s Charity shop at Eyna Restaurant on Çalış promenade.

On Mondays at 11.30 am, ex slimming club leader Rosemary Bridge is holding a Weight Loss Support Group for anyone who wants to shed a few pounds.

There will be a weekly weigh in, advice and support, the chance to swap recipes and the option to either go on a short walk or other gentle exercise to speed up weight loss (this is not compulsory!).

There is a charge of 3TL per person or 5TL per couple.

A small sum from each donation will be put aside each week for a prize for 'The biggest weight loss of the month' and the rest will be donated to the 3Cs Charity, helping to fund children’s projects in the local area.

For those who want to exercise the grey matter, 3C’s Charirman Peter Clark will be hosting an afternoon fun quiz of 40 questions at 2.30 pm on Fridays.

It will be 2TL per person to take part with a maximum of 6 in a team and there will be a prize for the winning team.

For those who just want to shop, the new charity shop is open from 11.00 until 2.00 pm on Monday's and Friday's.
