Oludeniz Air Fest 26 - 30 October 2011 Promises Thrills and Spills

The Oludeniz Air Fest, now in its 12th year, starts on 26th October and promises thrills and spills.

The Turkish paragliding festival that was known as the Oludeniz Air Games changed its name to the Oludeniz Air Fest last year.

This years festival, now in its 12th year, takes place in the Turkish resort of Oludeniz between 26th to the 30th October 2011.

The event organisation is now under the local authorities and they promise that the event will be fun and exciting for both participants and spectators as it was last year.

The sites on the Babadag mountain where the paragliders launch from have undergone major improvements in the last two years and now offer a large paved area. The road to the launch sites has also been surfaced and now the journey to the top is more comfortable.

The organisers promise demonstrations of paragliding, skydiving, base jumping, hang gliding, microlighting by day, and music, bars, dancers and entertainment until the crack of dawn during the event.

Launch fees will be free during the event.

The event is free for spectators so make sure you get down to Oludeniz and take in this fun, free event.

More details of the events to be held each day will be published when the organisers issue them.
