Köşem Quiz needs new participants
The quiz held at the Köşem restaurant in Fethiye is one of the oldest quizzes still in existence.

It has been running since early 2003, on Monday and Thursday evenings, organised by a dedicated bunch of British residents who take it in turns to be quizmaster.
But a combination of bad weather and regulars being away for the winter has resulted in numbers attending the quiz dropping, to perilously low levels.
So why not make the effort to take part in a quiz at the Köşem?
The restaurant serves good, wholesome and very reasonably priced food – including an excellent fish and chips.
If you don’t want to eat, just turn up for the quiz start time of 8pm and buy a drink while you do the quiz.
The photo shows Michael, one of the team which organises the quiz nights, and they are all looking forward to welcoming new, or old, participants on any Monday or Thursday.
The Köşem is very easy to find – down the street opposite the ‘heads’ monument on the Kordon.
And starting at 8pm means the quiz finishes in plenty of time for you to catch a dolmuş home if you don’t have your own transport.
So wrap up warm and get down to the Köşem for a quiz.
