Dalaman Airport International Airport, now eight years old, is under new management and parts of the award winning building are enjoying a makeover.

The new management has recently embarked on a programme to provide more comfort and better services for passengers that has in the past been described by some passengers as lacking in adequate seating, light and ventilation.

VIP

It has taken a month to give the international terminal a makeover and the new CIP (VIP) Lounge is now ready for passengers to enjoy its premium privileges

All the architectural details of the lounge have been designed to provide a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere for the fee paying passengers while they wait for their international flights.

With its natural timber decoration, plants and special lighting, the CIP Lounge is equipped with Wi-Fi and a library, together with food and beverage facilities.

Food and Drink Prices

But regular travellers through the gateway to Turkey’s sunshine coast will be watching the cost of the concessions within the terminal with more interest.

  1. Duty free prices are also more expensive and should price items in lira as well as euros, so that they do not have to convert before you pay in lira. Which always works out unfavourable to the buyer.

  2. Hefty prices for years too many security checks why the need to scan coming in and when checked in to go through to airside?lack of choice of duty free shops unlike old terminal.duty free shops not telling travellers truth about allowances just to sell as much as they can and followed around like store detectives rather sales assistants..check in desks too slow and over priced cost of extra weight rip off in fact in general spoils your holiday when you get to dalaman .
