Property Generally Turkish Phone Bills and Internet up 5%

Internet and telephone charges levied by Turk Telekom (Turk Telekomunikasyon AS) have gone up by 5%.
The company announced the increase to the Istanbul stock market yesterday, 19 August 2008, and said they would take effect immediately.
This is the second time that the national phone company have increased prices this year.
