Those annoying Turkcell text messages could save you money if you take the time to translate them.

If you have a Turkcell mobile phone you’ll probably be fed up with the constant text messages in Turkish.

But if you take the time to translate them you could find you’re ‘quids in’.

We recently sat down with our Turkish/English dictionary translated and replied to one of the texts.

It was offering free talk time if we moved our tariff from the standard "BizBize" over to the "Nar Tarife".

We received a text back confirming the change and were then offered 500 free kontors if we loaded our pay as you go phone with just 150 kontors.

We did and received a text confirming our free 500 time limited kontors!

Not only that our normal call costs have reduced too for the paid for units.

So next time you receive a text from Turkcell make sure you get the Turkish/English dictionary out and get translating.
