Property Generally ADSL line speeds double from Today

Some Turk Telecom ADSL customers will see their line speed double from today with no extra cost. Customer on the limited 256 kbs package will see their line speed increased to 512 kbs download and 128 kbs upload. Only customers on the 3 GB or 6 GB limited packages will get the increase.
According to the changes, no new 256 kbps subscriptions will be accepted, and the slowest connection available to new customers will be 512 kbps.
The new line speed should improve using packages like Skype for making phone calls from Turkey to the rest of the world as well as speeding up general web browsing and downloads.
