There’s something for everyone in the local property market now that prices have reduced.

Anna from Kings Estate Agency shares her thoughts on the local property market and shares a few of the properties on her books at present.

After a slow season in 2006, prices have either reduced or levelled out, making this a great time to buy well priced property in the general Fethiye area. Choice is certainly the key-word in the current property market.

Whether a buyer is looking for holiday, year round or investment property, they will have a wide range of properties to choose from with prices for Fethiye and Calis apartments starting in the mid £30,000’s through to villas in the Ovacik area, from £79,200 up through to over £200,000.

10 Minutes walk to Calis Beach, detached, three bedroom villa at £110,000.

Should you want a quieter location, Uzumlu is still a popular choice with villas in this area, starting from £109,000, or Gocek, currently an up-market area, offering apartments at around the £100,000 mark and villas from £168,000.

With local builders competing for buyers, more flights coming into Dalaman year round, a shorter transfer time than ever before and the possibility of raising a mortgage on a Turkish property, hopefully, around the corner, prices should be set to rise over the next couple of years, making this a great time to buy a property in this area.
