Fethiye was battered by two storms last week. Local reader Geoff Bramfitt took some photos of the damage that he found on a short trip around Fethiye and Calis.

Above boats blown onto the banks by the high winds on the river channel in Calis. Below more damage by the road bridge in Calis.

And the other side by the water taxi pick up point the jetty sustained damage.

Further up the river the force of the water has undermind the bank taking part of the road with it.

A helpful digger operator gives a chap a lift over the flood waters - very resourcefull!
