Temperatures have dropped to unseasonal lows over Fethiye and South West Turkey as a weather front to the North and East brings cooler air over the area.

According to local weather forecasts temperatures are expected to reach a high of 22 degrees centigrade by Saturday lunchtime – last week they were around 27 degrees centigrade.

But the shock will come in that over night temperatures are expected to get as low at 7 degrees centigrade. That’s winter temperatures.

The highs and lows are expected to ease a little into Monday and should be back to seasonal norms by Wednesday.

But by Wednesday there is a risk of thunderstorms and rain.
