Sixteen year old Louis, a young man with autism, raised a pretty penny for local street animals with a festive feat whilst on holiday in Ovacik this Christmas.

Louis was on holiday with his mother Fran and seventeen year old sister Lydia visiting friends in Ovacik this Christmas and New Year.

During their stay he noticed a number of street dogs and cats wandering around the village and decided he wanted to help them.

How, by taking a chilly but fun Christmas Day dip.

Once he made the decision he was soon on Facebook and within no time his friends had pledged £100 for his fun festive fundraiser.

With that money banked all he now needed to do was take that Christmas dip. And, with a smile on his face, he did.

The cash is now on its way to Animal Aid and Louis will continue raising funds in the UK for them, and will be helping the charity out when he visits in the future.

Now the stray dogs and cats of the area have found another friend.
