On 3 September 2013, the Calis Beach Forum, an internet forum providing information and opinion about the resort celebrated its 10th birthday.

The Forum, which was started by Keith Campbell who lived in the Calis area of Fethiye for 5 years and worked as an estate agent, now has over 10,500 members.

As well as providing quality information on a wide range of topics for people living and working in the area, the Forum also has entertaining sections on sport and all things that have nothing to do with Turkey

But the Forum has also, over many years, provided a platform and practical support to various local charities. In 2012 Keith launched the Forum’s first major charity project which successfully contributed towards the refurbishment of a village school at Bozalan.

The Forum also provided massive support to the successful campaign to free two dolphins, Tom and Misha, from a hell hole in Hisaronu. A campaign that also attracted the support of Coronation Street actress Helen Worth and award winning investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre

It was in recognition of all the Forum’s activities that the members got together to show their appreciation of all the time and effort that Keith Campbell has devoted to the Forum.

Keith was presented with an inscribed glass tablet and a book of testimonials from the members.

Steph, Keith’s wife, was presented with a family photo session token in recognition of her support of her husband.

And in keeping with the Forum’s charity work over the years, the members raised just short of £500 which they invited Keith to donated to the charities of his choice.
