Fethiye Motor Show
The four day Fethiye Motor show closed its doors yesterday.
It show cased 10 different vehicle brands and 40 models.
According to the organisers Fethiye and local people showed great interest in this the fourth motor show to be held in the town.
The event was opened by the Governor Mr. Ekrem ÇALIK and the Fethiye district police chief was a guest of honour at the opening. Mr. Ismail Öztürk of Fethiyespor received information about the vehicles.
Israeli Holiday Makers to Flock Back to Turkey

Before the Marmara incident created the rift between Turkey and Israel, over a half a million Israelis traveled annually to Turkey for their holidays.
The recent successful reconciliation between Israel and Turkey brokered by US president Obama has meant travel and therefore holidays between the two countries is now back on.
Reports from Tel Aviv say that demand for holidays to Turkey is now very high and that hundreds of charter flights between Tel Aviv and popular Turkish destination airports such as Dalaman and Antalya are now scheduled.
According to one travel agent all inclusive holiday packages are most popular choice for Israelis.
Fethiye Tourism Week 2013 Upbeat
Last week was Fethiye Tourism Week.
A number of events took place to mark the start if the 2013 tourism season including a walking parade by school children through the town, a cocktail event and dancing and other displays by students.
Tourism chiefs were hopeful that the 2013 season would be better than the last when some 1.25 million tourists came to the area.
They said that new hotel developments competed in early 2013 will add 5,000 new bed spaces.
Ambulance to be Stationed on Babadağ Paragliding Take Off Point
Babadağ mountain, Fethiye
A fully equipped ambulance will be on standby on the popular paragliding jump off point throughout the 2013 season according to the Fethiye Chamber of Commerce.
The ambulance and medical team will be on hand from the 1st May to provide immediate medical assistance to pilots and their passengers should it be required.
Tour of Turkey Starts but Fethiye will Miss Out
The annual cycle race will see some 25 teams take part this year.
The 1,204 km race started in Alanya yesterday and will end in Istanbul next Sunday 28th April.
This World Cycling Union (UCI) calendar 2.HC (Hors Class) category race will be broadcast all over Europe on Eurosport in HD.
The race will bypass Fethiye this year with the local leg starting in Gocek and ending in Marmaris. More about that on Tuesday on Fethiye times.com.
