The Central Bank cut all its interest rates last week in a bid to boost growth and stimulate demand.

The move follows rate reductions by other so called emerging market economies such as Mexico and Hungary.

The Turkish Central Bank cut all rates by 0.5 percent reducing rates to between 4 percent and 7 percent for certain instruments.

The rate cuts are expected to feed through into consumer loans and deposit rates in time.
