There were a lot of spooky goings on in Çalış, Fethiye last Sunday when the 3C’s held their first children’s Halloween party.

58 children disguised as mini witches, ghosts, ghouls, monsters, and magicians bewitched their way into the Bus Stop bar on Çalış seafront for an afternoon of fun, frolics and, hair-raising games such as musical pumpkins, spiders in the jar and sleeping lions.

With fun food, which was quickly demolished, followed by scary jelly and ice cream, the children had a great time.

As well as dancing to the Time warp and Monster Mash, there was Hook a Duck and pick a stick games with small prizes for the winners.

“It was brilliant party, the mums and dads really went to town with the children’s costumes and even the babies were dressed up.”

“Some of the children even bought along their grandparents” said Çalış Children’s Charity committee member Barbara McCauley.

Fellow committee member Anne Jenns said:

“We all had a brilliant time and it was a great success. We would like to thank Teo and the staff at the Bus Stop for helping and joining in, to Animal Aid for lending us their Halloween decorations and to Simon and Terrie for decorating the bar”.
