The Christmas Çalış Car Boot Sale takes place this Sunday the 18th December 2011.

The next sale is this Sunday 18th December 2011.

The popular monthly Sunday car boot sales organised by the Çalış Children’s charity, is being held in the car park next to the Bahar Hotel on Çalış seafront.

The cost of a stall at the sale is 15TL which includes two tables (whilst stocks last).

The sale is from 8.00 to 2.00 pm with set up from 7.00 am. Sellers are asked not to set up before this time.

Not only are the sales a hunting ground for bargains and a great social event but they are also a great way of fundraising with many local charities taking stalls to raise money for their good causes.

The organisers, the Çalış Children’s Charity (3C's), raises money to fund projects for local children from the sales of donated items on their committee stall and also from the stall fees less the cost of table.

If anyone has any unwanted items to dispose of but does not wish to have a stall the 3C’s would be very happy to take these off your hands and can collect them if required. Please ring 0536 373 9520.

Donated goods can also be dropped off at the 3C’s charity shop at the Eyna Restaurant on Çalış seafront.

For those who will not be around for the pre-Christmas car boot sale, the first car boot sale in 2012 will take place on Sunday 22 January

Sale dates for the winter season have now been agreed with Fethiye Belediye and the Çalış Association so make a note of these in your diary.
