Turkish airline Anadolujet Jet are now flying between Dalaman Airport and the Turkish Capital Ankara with low priced fares.

The budget airline will offer 2 flights per week between Dalaman Airport and the Turkish capital Ankara (Esenboga) on a Monday and Thursday.

Flights leave Dalaman at 20:50 and from Ankara at 19:00 on both days. Flight time is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Prices are quoted on the website starting from 39 TL for non refundable to 79 TL for flexible tickets one way during November.

We booked a fictitious ticket leaving Dalaman on 21st November returning on the 24th November and the total price was 173 TL (Approximately £60) including taxes and other charges.

The flight time of 1:15 minutes is significantly less than the 9 hour coach journey to the capital from Fethiye.

However, for those on a tight budget the coach may still offer better overall value. The overnight coach to Ankara leaves Fethiye around 10:00pm and arrives at the capitals main bus station at 7am. It returns from the capital at a similar time. The overnight trips by coach save 2 nights accommodation.
