Super Yachts AIR and SOUTH Visit Fethiye

Earlier this week two super motor yachts the ‘Air’ and ‘South’ dropped anchor in Fethiye Bay whilst their passengers visited Fethiye.

Super Yacht AIR visited Fethiye, Turkey earlier this week

The super yacht Air pictured above was launched earlier this year. She was built at the Aalsmeer shipyard in Holland and is the largest yacht ever to built at the yard.

Super yacht AIR measures a colossal 81 metres (265.7 feet) but despite her size she is designed to accommodate just 12 passengers in 7 state rooms.

Inside the yachts design is up to the minute with a lift to all decks, sundeck pool, gym, massage and steam rooms. It also carries jet skis, sailing dinghies, kite surfing and more water based toys to enjoy.

But the killer app is the fully certified heli pad complete, at this time, with its own helicopter.

The super yacht is available for charter at a cool €750,000 per week.

On top of that ‘expenses’ are also payable including, we expect, fuel, tips and excursions! And with fuel usage for boats of this size being measured in tonnes and not litres the fuel bill alone is likely to be a substantial extra.

The second super yacht to visit Fethiye was the ‘South’.

At 53 metres she may be smaller than Air but it still demands a cool €275,000 per week plus expenses.

Despite the so called economic downturn it seems there is still enough money in some hands to enjoy super yacht luxury breaks.
