FIM World Enduro Championship, Fethiye - Starts Today

The motorcycling race returns to Fethiye, Turkey today, Thursday for the second time and promises thrills and spills and a chance to see the amazing “Flying Turk” perform his motorbike gymnastics.

The race will offer some of the toughest tracks that the Med has to offer testing the world class riders to their limits.

As well as point to point races their will also be free style and super extreme demonstrations too.

Free Show Set to Amaze

The most popular events will no doubt be the show of jumps, tricks and gravity defying moves by Gökhan Durmuş (the flying turk) and his international team.

They will perform two 20 minute shows over the 3 day event.

Show times:

09 June Thursday at the paddock (Tuesday market place) 17:30 – 20:00 - Expect this to be a very popular event as it is in the centre of town!

10th and 11th June the shows will continue at the Akdeniz Off-Road Park, Esen, Fethiye - see the website below for directions.

Race Face

The main races will start from the Tuesday market site in Fethiye and follow routes and tracks around KayaKoy and beyond.

Demonstrations and other events will also be held at the Akdeniz Off-Road Park near Esen, Fethiye.

The event is sponsored by Sportoto, the Turkey Motorcycle Federation, Forestry Commission Sports Club and Power FM.
