Çalış Carnival 2011 Programme

Thursday May 26 - 20:00 to 20:45 Sunset Terrace Concert

Followed by a seminar on the terrace at sunset 20:45 about Turtles (Caretta) and birds of paradise bird reserve of Çalış (Turkish and English)

Friday May 27 Pre Carnival Celebration

To get in to the spirit of the festival there will be celebrations and events in the restaurants, bars and leisure areas.

Saturday 28 May - The Carnival!

Exhibition between 11:00 and 17:00 Near the Yoruk (Brown) tents

Street Entertainment between 11:00 and 16:00

The Carnival Procession on the Çalış Sea Front 16:00 To 17:30

The main event will be the carnival procession; colourful clothing, children will walk with their families and others and floats.

Evening between 17:30 and 18:30

The Award Ceremony - Location: On the beach near the Light House Restaurant

Party in the (Car) Park 19:00 to 22:30

Dance, music and culture ... A universal blend of music and performers.
