The author of “Birds Without Wings” will hold a workshop including readings and a book signing at this unique event in the atmospheric village of KayaKoy.

The village of KayaKoy has a rich history and the abandoned Greek village that stretches up the hill holds mystery and intrigue for those that visit it. It was that backdrop that inspired the story in the famous book “Birds Without Wings”.

Louis de Bernieres the author of that famous book will be holding a unique event on Sunday 1 May 2011 in the village.

A workshop, book signing, readings and more will begin at 3:30pm at the wonderful Gunays Garden restaurant.

Tickets are prices at 50TL and net proceeds will go to local charity FIG.
