Ramita Navai investigates the record level of honour killings in Turkey, where more than 200 girls and women have died in the past year.
Navai looks at whether the Turkish government's new law against the practice, passed as part of their attempts to join the EU, may have led to a rise in the number of female suicides.
The programme is called "Unreported World" and will be shown on UK channel More 4 on Monday 24th January on More4 from 11:40pm to 12:15am.
