Tony Dancaster, who lived in Ovacık for some time and was a member of the gardening club, died recently in the UK.

His funeral will take place in England on Thursday, 16th December and there will be a ‘parallel’ event at Kumsal in Ölüdeniz commencing at 1.30pm.

The gathering in Ölüdeniz is being organised by Tony’s friends locally, and will follow the same format as the funeral in the UK, and take place at the same time.

There will also be an opportunity for anyone who wishes to speak of memories of Tony to do so.

We hope many friends of Tony’s will attend this ‘memorial gathering’ on Thursday.
