Schools in Turkey re-opened yesterday after the long summer break.
Around 16 million students returned to school across Turkey yesterday.
For the returning students that marked the end of a mammoth 3 month break that began on 19th June 2010.
The 2011 school year will continue until 17th June 2011 with a half term holiday between 31st January and 14th February 2011.
