The Tour of Turkey starts in Istanbul tomorrow and will arrive in Fethiye this Thursday 15th April 2010.

Tour of Turkey cycle race on the raod from Kalkan to Kas

Stage 5 of the race sees the 15 teams of around 120 riders setting off from Pammukale near Denizli in the morning for the 221km ride to Fethiye.

The original route via Cameli and Uzumlu has now been changed and the riders will instead take the punishing road via Golhisar and Altin Yayla where they will climb to the summit at 1,600 metres (5,250 feet).

The riders will then take the undulating main road towards Fethiye for a fast decent down to Kemer and then continue on the main road to finish in Fethiye town centre.
