The Tour of Turkey starts in Istanbul tomorrow and will arrive in Fethiye this Thursday 15th April 2010.

Stage 5 of the race sees the 15 teams of around 120 riders setting off from Pammukale near Denizli in the morning for the 221km ride to Fethiye.
The original route via Cameli and Uzumlu has now been changed and the riders will instead take the punishing road via Golhisar and Altin Yayla where they will climb to the summit at 1,600 metres (5,250 feet).
The riders will then take the undulating main road towards Fethiye for a fast decent down to Kemer and then continue on the main road to finish in Fethiye town centre.

Spectators will have ample opportunity to see the riders as they enter Fethiye via Karagedik through Calis, along the Migros road and then turn into town for the finish around 16:30 (See the map below).

The event will also be televised live on Eurosport everyday between 15:00 and 17:00 (13:00 to 15:00 British Summer Time for all our readers in the UK) and on TRT.
The following day the riders will set off from Fethiye around 12:15 for the 194km ride to Finike taking the same route starting from the town centre and heading out to Calis..
If you plan to visit Fethiye on the 15th and 16th be prepared for road closures along the race route.
