A quiz with a difference helped to raise over 400 TL for local children’s charities in Calis, Fethiye recently.

The Mr and Mrs. Quiz based on the original 1970’s UK television programme was organised by the Çalış Carnival committee.

About 50 people attended Bostan’s Restaurant for the fun evening where brave couples were invited to put their names in a hat and then the five lucky couples drawn out had to answer questions about how well they knew each other.

Winners of the evening were newcomers to Çalış Tim and Sandy who have been together just 3 years.

Earlier in the evening there was a “Love and Marriage” quiz won by Julian and Annette Rolliston on holiday from the Isle of Wight.

A delicious meal was prepared by Bostan’s staff and restaurant owner Recep kindly donated 5 TL from each meal to the Çalış Carnival charity.
