New rules to protect against the threat of liquid explosives similar to the UK and Europe have now been introduced by all Turkish airports according to the Dalaman Airport website.
The new rules will apply from April 20, 2009 at all Turkish airports.
The permitted amount of liquids, aerosols and gels in hand luggage is restricted.
For full details please visit the Dalaman Airport website here.
However, when one of our readers flew from Dalaman on Friday 1st May there were no signs of any liquid restrictions, checks or information.
All we can therefore conclude is that the restrictions will come 'one day'.
