On Sunday, 6th May, Ovacik Residents’ Association are organising a joint Turkish-British picnic. The idea is that the British residents bring British food, the Turks bring Turkish food and everyone swaps eats at the picnic.
So if you’d like to join in, be at the school in Ovacik at 12 noon – bearing sandwiches and scones, or a fruit cake! And we’d really appreciate picnic photos and a report from anyone who attends so that we can post that on the website too.
