An icy north wind started blowing yesterday bringing air temperatures plummeting over South West Turkey.
The weather forecast predicts temperatures will plummet over the next few days as a North Easterly icy wind blows.
Temperatures could drop as low as 1.5 degrees centigrade in the early hours of Wednesday morning in down town Fethiye. That means a frost in areas above sea level and away from the Fethiye heat island effect.
However, the north easterly wind will make the temperatures feel much colder so wrap up warm.
The good news is though that the days are now getting longer, by around 1 minute a day.
So, roll on summer when we can once again complain that it’s too hot!
