According to Hurriyet newspaper’s Sunday 13 August edition, a young English woman, 22-year-old Donna Dippo, recently had a holiday fling with an Oludeniz hairdresser, Ramazan Kaymaz.  No doubt ignorant of the depth of his feelings, she then moved on to another 17-year-old Turk who has only been identified by his initials, EM.  Donna and EM, together with EM’s friend Eren, a trainee hairdresser who had previously worked for Ramazan, were walking along the main street of Hisarönü when who should they bump into but Ramazan and his current apprentice (another person who is trying to stay anonymous and be known just by the initials VA).  A fight broke out between the four young men, VA got out his knife and Eren was stabbed.  He died in the ambulance on the way to hospital.  Ramazan and VA are now in Fethiye jail awaiting trial for murder.
