Jellyfish Invasion around Marmaris

Hundreds of thousand of jellyfish have turned up in the sea around Marmaris, Dat柠and Bodrum.  They are 10-15 cm wide and pack a poisonous punch, though it is not thought to be fatal.  The situation is so serious that warnings in Turkish and English are being handed out in the resorts.  So watch out – it could be the Gulf of Fethiye next.
