One Heart Appeal Launch Monday 21 May 2007

‘One Heart’ is an appeal fund set up by local singers to buy an incubator for the children’s unit of the Devlet Hastanesi based in Calis.

The launch will take place at the Korays Shamrock Irish Pub on Monday, May 21st, at 3pm. Various activities have been organised for both adults and children, with many local businesses donating raffle prizes.

The local singers have recorded a specially mixed limited edition CD, which will be available on the day for 12ytl. The first 250 CD’s are specially numbered and the number one CD will be auctioned off. In the evening the singers will be there to perform some of the songs from the CD.

A lot of time and effort has been given by many people, but a special thanks must go to Pete Morricon'e from Trix Trax Music studio for mixing the CD, free of charge. Many people have already donated or pledged money for this worthy cause, but a lot more is still needed if they are to raise a sum in excess of 17,000ytl.

This appeal will not start and finish on May 21st, but will continue until the funds for the incubator have been raised. Anyone wanting to bid for the number one CD or donate prizes or cash can do so by contacting The Shamrock Bar on 0252 613 38 45 (if calling from outside Turkey dial 0090 252 613 38 45).
