Did you hear the dull repetitive thuds coming from the sea yesterday?

Well, you may have been forgiven for thinking there was a full scale war going on just off the coast of Fethiye, but it was in fact a large Turkish naval exercise. The exercise, codenamed ‘Sea Tail’, is in full swing until May 26 off the coast of Western Turkey. It involves much of Turkeys navel hardware and airforce and the dull thuds we could hear  were the result of live fire out at sea.
