Turkish Holiday Hotspots 'now poor value for money'

The Co-Operative Travel company has said that it has seen an increase in holiday bookings to popular resorts in Eygpt and Turkey.

However, the company warns that prices for holidays to Dalaman (Fethiye/Marmaris) have gone up by 27% since last year.

The average increase to other Turkish resorts and Eygpt have gone up on average by 18%.

The company warns that Dalaman offers comparatively poor value for money.

However, we think tourists should get a better bang for their pound than if they travel to the expensive euro zone especially if the Pound remains weak to the Euro.
