Voting ended at 5:00pm and the results were out a few hours later.

There has been no change at the top for Fethiye and Oludeniz councils.

For Fethiye:

The MHP party mayoral candidate, the current mayor BEHƅT SAATŦ#304;, retained his position with 44.65%. He also gained 3.37% more votes over the 2004 elections.

Second in the polls was the AK Party MUHSIN ERYILMAZ with 27.86% of the votes. The party increased its voter numbers by 13.65% over the 2004 elections.

In a close third came the CHP party YUSUF ZIYA HIRA with 27.33% of the vote. The party increased its voter numbers by 11.81%.

For Oludeniz the current mayor Keramettin Yılmaz retained his position.
