This beautiful one year old Husky, who goes by the name of "Count", is now at our Centre, waiting for a new owner.

 
He was very well cared for by a young Turkish man who bought the dog as a 4 week old puppy last May. He has had a full set of innoculations and has a current, up-to-date passport.

Since he has been with us, and with the young man's permission, we have had Count neutered by our vet Emre.
 
He was given to us because the man had to move from a house with garden to an apartment and the dog was not allowed by the landlord to remain there.

The young man was very upset when he parted with the dog and asked that we only give it to a good home and not a Turkish family who he says would not care for it properly!

That's not necessarily correct as there are many very good Turkish pet owners, but what he was meaning was the owners would have to spend a lot of time with the dog, grooming and exercising it, and that as most British retirees in Fethiye have the time, and understanding, for such a commitment.

He expressely asked that we find Count a good British owner.
