The enhancements to the road and surroundings of the last part of the Fethiye promenade towards town have now been completed and were officially opened by the Belediye last week.

They run from near to what was the Yakamoz Restaurant to the Market entrance.

Not only has the road been completely block paved replacing the old worn out tarmac, but also new parking spaces, planting beds and plants now lift the look of the whole area.

The repaved road also includes traffic calming humps designed to slow the traffic which should, in most cases, allow pedestrians a sporting chance of crossing the busy road without mishap.
