On Monday 3rd August a Cadianda Tours long-wheel base jeep collected 7 British passengers from hotels in Ölüdeniz and set off for the trip to Saklıkent Gorge. 

As they turned on to the main Antalya road at the Fethiye - Kara洬ha junction, the jeep was hit from behind by an old Turkish car, which then swerved onto the hard shoulder and broke into two halves!

The passengers in the jeep: Hilary Billinge (48), Nigel Billinge (49), Joshua Billinge (24), Olivia Billinge (20), Lindsay Rogers (20), Julia Romfield (23), Rebecca Romfield (53) together with the driver of the jeep, Mehmet Ülker (37) all suffered slight injuries and were taken to hospital – as was the driver of the old Turkish car whose name was not reported!
