The first international student of the English and More International Language School in Fethiye has just completed a week stay with one of the English speaking host families.

Afsana Ageyeva, or Vafa as she likes to be known, travelled from Azerbaijan to Fethiye after hearing about the new learning centre.

She was keen to improve her practical English language reading, writing and speaking with native English teachers and people.

Her host family was Simon and Monika Newbound of Calis, Fethiye.

Simon and Monika said:

“We really enjoyed hosting Vafa and helping her to improve her English language skills.”

“It wasn’t all work, work, work though and we enjoyed a few trips around the area at the weekend.”

“We are both very happy to host students in the future and felt that this first experience had given us some insight into the expectations of both the students and English and More International Language School.”

Vafa said:

“I have enjoyed staying with Simon and Monika and my English skills have really improved not only with their help but also that of the school that I attended during the day.”

“I was able to communicate easily with my hosts and they were always patient and happy to help me with new vocabulary or grammatical points.”
