Kayaköy once again proved itself as the perfect venue for Taste of Fethiye’s Craft and Food Fair and everyone involved said it was a great success.
There was some concern about the weather but the rain forecast failed to materialise and despite some dark clouds atop Babadağ, the day was sunny and warm.
Some regulars and some new faces at the craft fair
The lively fair had at least 50 stalls, selling a wide range of locally made crafts and products: from tablecloths to jewellery and local homemade produce, fruit and cakes.
Taste of Fethiye’s First Cookery Competition

Some of the contestants came wearing their chefs’ outfits too; these were mostly keen young students from Fethiye’s Girls’ Vocational School.
Mrs Nesrin Saatçı, wife of mayor Behçet Saatçı, came along to support Fethiye Evi, the organization that she chairs.
