Lost in translation or designed to catch your eye? ‘Signs of the Times’ brings you another great translation funny.

Now this is genuine. We noticed this the other day when cleaning our teeth with this well known brand of toothpaste sold in Turkey and Arabic countries, if the text is anything to go by.

But what have they done! Writing 'White Power' on the tube with a picture of the perfect white family. Is this the work of some neo-facist group? Are they planting subliminal messages into the minds of dental hygiene conscious citizens in Turkey and further East?

We doubt it and we think they really wanted to say 'White Powder'. It took us a while to notice this as you will see as the tube is almost empty.

Come to think of it these tubes were on a very special discount back in the spring from Migros. Maybe the supplier realised the mistake and discounted them to get shot of them.....
