Signs of the Times – Bus Stop Sign Causes Confusion

Lost in translation or designed to catch your eye? ‘Signs of the Times’ brings you another classic signage gaff.

Our occasional series about poor translation just for a giggle

Our next sign is displayed on one of the many new bus shelters to have sprung up around the area.

This particular sign is on a bus shelter in Ovacik shows how things really can get lost in translation. It just doesn't make any sense.

What we think they are really trying to say is that you can catch a bus every 5 minutes on the other road

Thanks to Janet Graham for the picture.

Another example of a translation into English gone wrong - This one is in Ovacik near Fethiye
