Visitors who visit the hilltop Roman remains of Cadianda that sit above the village of Yesiluzumlu will no longer have to struggle up the uneven and unmade road thanks to Fethiye Council.
The Council recently commissioned works to have the Cadianda road surfaced with 30,000 metres squared of asphalt.
Fethiye Mayor Bechet Saatchi visited the road works last week to view the work, meet residents of the village and visitors who were heading to the ruins at Cadianda.
