Despite the weather forecast of rain and the change of date to avoid next weeks elections over sixty sellers and hundreds of buyers came to Calis yesterday for the ever popular Calis Carnival Car Boot Sale.

It was a case of the 'Early bird catches the worm' though as at around 9:30 heavy hail and rain forced many to pack up and go.

Still, one seller from Marmaris was happy having sold nearly all he brought before the rain came.

The next and final Calis Carnival Car Boot Sale for the season will be held at the end of April.
