Whilst your correspondent left Kars early on Monday 23rd March, the rest of the dance group stayed on for another two days – and had an amazing time.

They relocated to Sarıkamış where they stayed right next to the ski slopes.

They were now guests of Cevdet who presents the popular Anadolu Haber programme on TRT2.

Their first performance took place half way up the ski slopes where a cafe sits on a small plateau between the two ski lifts.
 
Here you see three of the Group leaving in the lift – by the time they reached their destination a blizzard was in progress – but they made it into the cafe and performed for the cameras.
