After the oppression of the storms sleet and lightening and simply too much rain there is a place near Fethiye where you can enjoy the beauty of the snow.

Take the road through Uzumlu, continue past Nif (Arpecik) and just continue on to nearby the Kirk Pinar restaurant.

Last Sunday the roads had been cleared so there was no ice on them.

You'll see plenty of cars parked on the side of the road with picnickers who have set up their barbeques

If you have suitable footwear a short walk of about 30 metres brings you to virgin snow and it is possible to take a pleasant walk.
